OUR STUDIO

Established in 2003, for over 20 years DOAHL Dance Academy is

York Region’s premiere urban traditional dance studio featuring a dance curriculum in Hip Hop, African, Latin, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Acro. Located in Markham, Ontario, Canada, DOAHL Dance Academy has a multicultural faculty that uses their industry experience and training to instruct and inspire.

 

We strongly believe that dance should be for everyone! Our classes are offered for students aged 3 and up at recreational, part-time competitive, and full-time competitive levels. At DOAHL we carefully review everything from choreography to costumes, to musical selections with a critical eye. We take pride in making choices that build up our students in their skills,

self-esteem and spirit.

Greg and Charlene Hines are seasoned dance professionals who started their dance careers with legendary Hip Hop choreographer Luther Brown from “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Next Generation”. As touring dancers, their dance careers took them to places they never thought possible! 

 

DOAHL Dance Academy was born out of a genuine love for the art of dance. Greg and Charlene seek to pass on their passion for dance to a new generation of dancers. DOAHL is their family – and they can’t wait for you to be part of it!
